On October 17^th, 2009 the annual fundraising gala, “Sunset Splash” was held at the beautiful new Scripps Seaside Forum, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. With a silent and live auction and an exciting “bidder frenzy” the event raised $240,000 - a nearly 30% increase from last year! The Sponsor a State/Sponsor a School portion of the evening alone raised enough funds for us to produce and distribute the next Natural High DVD to schools in 18 states. This year Alaska, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Virginia were sold! This translates to 25,000 schools and 7 million kids hearing the natural high message!

Clips from the latest film, Natural High 4, were shared as well as testimonials from Counselor, Angela Flowers and Principal, Tina Elliott, who flew all the way out from Euclid, Ohio to share the success and impact the Natural High program has made in their school. Also, Tony Hawk, champion skateboarder, philanthropist, and entrepreneur received the Natural High Lifestyle Award. Tony, having starred in first two films, Natural High 1 & 2, sincerely supports our mission to reach kids with the Natural High message

With budget cuts and a tight economy, the Sundt Memorial Foundation is helping teachers across America have at least one valuable resource available to them at no cost, the Natural High ® DVD Series. This event and foundation would not be made possible without the support of all our friends and the community. A large heartfelt thanks goes out to everyone who bought tickets, filled tables,

brought teachers, brought friends, sponsored states, bid on auction items, volunteered, and those who worked long hours making this event the best one yet!! We could not have done this without all of your generosity and support. Natural High really is becoming a movement that is starting to sweep across the USA. A lot of that growth is from everyone who lending what they can to champion our message.
